I want to take the opportunity to visit other places in Brazil. Where should I go?
We listed some travel ideas here. Even though it will be winter in Brazil, anywhere in the North/Northeast will be warm and perfect for a beach holiday. The mild winter temperatures also make more adventurous destinations, such as Pantanal and Amazon, more pleasant.

Do I need a visa to go to Brazil?
Citizens from many countries, including the EU and most of LatAm, can enter Brazil for up to 90 days without a visa for tourism purposes. Starting April 10, 2025, US passport holders will likely need an e-visa. However, it’s recommended that guests check with their local Brazilian consulate to confirm the specific requirements for their nationality. Find more information here.
Wedding FAQ
-
How different is a Brazilian wedding?
Brazilian and American weddings are fairly similar. One notable difference lies in the dining experience, as we have no sit down dinner with assigned seats. In Brazilian weddings, it's more common to have a buffet-style meal with various food stations, fostering a lively and interactive atmosphere. Another key difference is that the reception lasts longer, so be ready for several hours of dancing!
-
What should I wear?
The dress code is formal. Weddings in Brazil are more formal than in the US. For men, we recommend suit and tie.
For women, we recommend gowns or dressy midi dresses. The entire venue is paved so any type of high heels will work. We will provide flip flops later in the evening. We kindly ask that women avoid white at the welcome event and wedding.
If you have any questions, feel free to reach out.

When and where is the wedding taking place?
